Who's Here for Dr. Who?

So a friend of mine said, "Watch Dr. Who!" and I stared, baffled, at the screen thinking what is this? Then I ended up watching the whole series. I caught up just yesterday. I'd wanted to catch up before the 50th anniversary and I made it with a month to spare (I'm not quite sure this is something to be very proud of)! I've not watched any of the older series yet, I plan to someday; I started with the ninth doctor but let me just say, my fellow Whovians, that I absolutely loved every minute of what I've watched so far! (kind of spoilers ahead for people who know absolutely nothing about the show)

 I'd just like to say that I think Matt Smith is my favorite regeneration over all.  It's hard to say that though because I love them all as The Doctor! I honestly don't know why Eccleston isn't as popular as the other two because I though he was absolutely FANTASTIC! He, for me, is pretty well tied with Tennant.  But, regenerations aside, this show is amazing and beautiful and emotional! I'm awaiting the 50th Anniversary with much anticipation!
