I'm a LDS (Latter Day Saint or some people have probably heard the term Mormon (which is not technically the correct term, kind of a "nickname" really! mormon.org )) I'm 20 years old have two wonderful families (due to a divorce long ago) including two mothers, two fathers, 5 adorable sisters, and our little brother (yes, he has had to make it through the sparkles and fingernail polish!).
I work at a movie theater and there are always really cool things happening!
I'm an avid reader and will probably be mentioning books on this blog all the time. I want to try and set up some book reviews too.
I'm a FANGIRL! I am crazy about Sherlock, Star Trek (The newer movies!!! Unfortunately I never started/got into the old shows/movies!), The Hobbit, Harry Potter, Kingdom Hearts, and a lot more that I will happily make a list of later.
I'm an artist! I paint, draw, sculpt, craft, build, etc, etc! I love making props and costumes and I'm getting a BFA in Visual Communications. I've participated in the local chalk festival in Bountiful (Magic on the Sidewalk) for four years and have won multiple awards for my art. I've been commissioned for my art on multiple occasions and I've loved the work! The largest painting I've done was 8ft. tall by 4ft. wide! It was so fun, a really neat experience!
I love to cosplay and go to conventions. I live in Utah and have attended the Anime Banzai for two years. I attended and volunteered at the first ever Salt Lake Comic Con which was AMAZING! I'll have more experiences to tell on that later. I've put together cosplays for Chihiro (Spirited Away: Movie), Helga Sinclair (Atlantis: Movie), Xion (Kingdom Hearts: Video Game), Yuki Cross (Vampire Knight: Manga), and an elf from The Hobbit. I'll be sure to post pictures of each one sometime!
