Time to Talk Comic Con!

Really late post but YAY! The first ever Salt Lake Comic Con 2013 was a blast! I was able to geek out to my hearts content. On the very first day I came as a volunteer. They gave me a neon green "crew" shirt and a badge and sent me to the Stages of the Salt Palace.  Since I was a volunteer whenever a panel with a big celeb started I was able to sit in the front row with the press.  It was pretty awesome.  I know I'm not going to be able to get to all the comic con stuff I want so I'll be making multiple posts of it's awesomeness.

There were some awesome cosplayers who came to the con.  Cosplay Highlights. Let me just say there were some brilliant costumes and I was very impressed by how many people cosplayed, and cosplayed so wonderfully, for the first year of SLCC. There was a plethora of Dr. Who cosplays.  Maybe I just noticed this because I was helping with the Tardis. The Daily Herald asked to take a picture of my LOTR elf costume. It was pretty cool!

(Working with the Tardis was awesome though!  The line never seemed to end! My friends were exhausted from working the line all day and I felt kind of bad for them because they couldn't roam the con as freely.)

I don't know how many people were there to witness the Deadpool riot outside the Ballroom but it was EPIC.  They crowd-surfed Superman!
